First annual ffa corn roast

Monticello FFA Chapter students and alumni hosted the first annual FFA corn roast at the Sept. 11 Friday night Monticello Magic Football Game.

FFA members and alumni served over 200 ears of corn to community members at the Friday night game. The corn was planted at the high school this spring and picked just before the game. FFA members had a memorable night and are already looking forward to it next year.

FFA officers voted to donate a portion of the proceeds to Lucas Koodie.
